Sarah was an elementary teacher for 5 years and a K-5 reading specialist for 12 years before joining PDCE as an instructional specialist in literacy. She has worked in public schools in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, and brings with her experience from their diverse school systems and populations.  Most recently, Sarah has enjoyed supporting teachers in Milford School District (DE) in their first year of Bookworms implementation. She believes in Bookworms Reading and Writing because she has witnessed first-hand the growth in the literacy development of students who have used this program.  Sarah is excited to continue to provide professional development and coaching in the area of literacy for PDCE.
