Terresa has served as a math specialist for the past three years. Prior to becoming a math specialist, she taught middle school math for 12 years in the cities of Chester, PA and Philadelphia, PA. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership with a focus in Special Education. Terresa was a 2016 Education Pioneers Fellow. During her fellowship, she assisted in the development of school performance frameworks with the Delaware Department of Education’s Charter School Office. She is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Terresa is interested in improving math teaching and learning in efforts to increase students’ access to high school, college, and career choices.
