Teaching the social curriculum increases the time that children are actively engaged in the classroom.  The Responsive Classroom approach is one of 23 programs included in the Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL)’s 2013 guide to preschool and elementary programs that are “well-designed, evidence-based social and emotional learning programs with potential for broad dissemination to schools across the United States.” (Northeast Foundation for Children, Inc. (2014)

Responsive Classroom teaching practices help you to become a more effective teacher.  This course is interactive and highly practical. The research-based strategies shared during this four day entry level training will lead to:
